of course we are also affected by the Corona lockdown and have therefore decided to reopen our destinature village only from 01 April 2021. Until then, we can best be reached by mail at destinature.dorf@werkhaus.de.

Our phone is manned only irregularly, but you can of course leave us a message on the answering machine, we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Welcome to the destinature village of Hitzacker!

If you love to wake up with the beauty of the birdsong, feel the meadow under your feet on your way to breakfast and take a shower under the stars, then the destinature village is the place for you. Here everyone who feels at home outdoors meets and wants to be in the middle of nature. That is why you’ll spend the night in comfortable tiny houses or in the mobile bed to go. Everything is made of natural and sustainable materials in the Werkhaus style.

Our bistro is open to you for breakfast, a snack in between or even for a relaxed dinner. Everything we offer is organic and is – as far as possible – supplied by our partners from the region. The bistro is the heart of the destinature village, where you will always find one of us during the day, to chat and to get the best tips for the region.

Of course, our destinature saunas are also located in the middle of the greenery. The heated hot tubs and the outdoor showers make your destinature wellness experience perfect.

Sustainable innovation is funded by the EU

The entire hut village is consistently made of sustainable materials and can be dismantled residue-free. The aim of this project is to strengthen the growing ecological awareness in tourism. Therefore, the European Fund for Regional Development supports the set-up and the pilot phase of the first Werkhaus destinature village.
