Where and when do I check in/out?
We welcome you at the reception in the bistro directly at the entrance to the village. You can check in from 5 pm. Check-out is possible until 11 am. You pay at the reception after your stay.
Is breakfast included?
Breakfast is not included in the accommodation price. You can order it in advance at check-in and get your delicious organic breakfast served in our bistro from 9.50 euros. By the way, we don’t offer a buffet breakfast, but serve our guests an individual breakfast. This is our way of reducing food waste.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, there are some basic and comfort huts available for you and your four-legged friend. You pay 10 € per night for your pet. Please contact email@example.com for a booking request and we will check whether your preferred hut is available. We would like to ask all visitors with their animal companions to be considerate of the site and other guests. Dogs get their own bed and must not sleep in our beds, ; they should remain on the leash and not bark loudly. Please be considerate of other guests in the bistro as well.
Do I need to bring towels, bed linen and hair dryer?
The huts are equipped with bed linen and towels. Additional towels, bathrobes and a hairdryer can be borrowed from the reception.
What is a family bed?
Extends the lying surface by the space between the existing beds, creating a 2.2 m wide lying surface.
What do I do with my luggage if I arrive early?
We can store luggage to a limited extent, but cannot accept any liability. Please ask us at the reception desk.
Can I bring a tent or my camper?
We want to offer our guests an undisturbed nature experience and keep the interference with nature low. In addition to our huts, there should be no other sleeping facilities, that is, no tents or campers. Our beds are much more comfortable anyway.
Does the destinature village have WiFi?
You can use WiFi in the bistro area. There is also WiFi on the site, but it is not comprehensive.
Does the hut have cooking facilities?
Cooking and barbecuing is not allowed in the huts or on the terrace. We will be happy to provide you with food and drinks in our organic bistro.
How often will my hut be cleaned?
With our destinature village we offer a sustainable holiday experience. Being environmentally friendly is very important to us. Therefore, the huts are not cleaned daily. If you would like your hut to be cleaned during your stay, please contact our staff on site. For the quick cleaning in between, you will find a hand brush and dustpan in every hut.
Is there a toilet in the accommodation?
Our destinature huts plus are equipped with a dry toilet and a hand basin. You will find more toilets in the wash house.
Is there electricity in the accommodations?
Every hut each have a 240V outlet indoor and two outdoor.
We spread solar-powered charging points with 12 volts on the site. You can charge battery-powered devices here. Laptops can be charged in the coworking space or in the bistro.
Booking & Payment
Is it possible to book without a credit card?
When booking you must provide a credit card (for our security), it will not be charged. If you do not have a credit card, please call us on 05862/338 99 43.
How do I pay on departure?
You can pay cash, with EC or credit card.
Why do you need my data?
We need your data exclusively for the booking. You can find information about data protection here.
Can I book your village / bistro for events?
Group bookings are possible by arrangement. Feel free to contact us by mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone on 05862/338 99 43.
How can I change my booking?
Please contact us by mail at email@example.com or by phone on 05862/338 99 43. You can find our cancellation policy here.
You can cancel your stay up to 7 days before your arrival. In case of cancellation in the 7 days before your arrival or in case of no-show we will charge you 80% of the total price.
Can I do laundry in the village?
You would like to wash your sportswear after a cycling tour, or you are staying in our destinature village for a longer period of time. You will find a washing machine and a dryer in the wash house.
Is there a place to change nappies?
You can change the nappies of your baby or toddler in our barrier-free bathroom in our wash house. There is a comfortable changing area there.
Where can I find toilets and showers?
Toilets, showers and a barrier-free bathroom are available in our wash house.
Bistro and Wellness
When is the bistro open?
The bistro is open from 8 am to 8 pm. You can also have breakfast there. Snacks and yummy drinks are also available during the day. Day visitors are welcome.
From November to March, the bistro is open on Thursday from 5 pm to 9 pm and from Friday to Sunday from 8 am to 9 pm.
I can only tolerate certain foods or eat a vegan/vegetarian diet. Is there an offer for this?
We take intolerances and different diets into consideration. You will find a vegan and gluten-free menu. And of course, cappuccino and co. are also available with oat milk or soy milk.
Can I use the wellness area as a day guest?
Yes, you can. But only from November to March, after booking by phone.
Unfortunately not in summer. Because we keep this free for our overnight guests.
How do I get to you?

Where can I find a car park?
There is a large car park not far from the destinature village, where there is also an entrance to the Hitzacker Archaeological Centre (AZ). You can park here free of charge. We kindly ask you not to drive up to the village, as this access is reserved for residents and garden owners. In front of the bistro, you will find help to transport your luggage.
Is the village wheelchair accessible?
So far, our organic bistro is wheelchair accessible, as is our sanitary building. We are working on making the huts also wheelchair accessible.
Can you buy the huts and the bed to go?
You can find the Bed to Go here in our online store. The huts are not available for purchase. We are working on further development and hope to be able to offer them in the course of the year. You are welcome to inquire at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Are you also open in winter?
The season in the destinature village runs from April 1st to October 31st . We are closed in winter. Nevertheless, we are of course available by e-mail and telephone.
Can I give away an overnight stay with you as a present?
Of course, you can! Here you will find our gift vouchers, which can be used for all services in the destinature village and will be redeemed on departure.
How do I redeem my voucher?
The voucher value will be deducted from your bill when you pay.
Is there a playground on the premises?
There is no playground directly in the destinature village, but you will find a small playground a few metres away at the Hitzacker Archaeological Centre (AZH). Check our activities for more information on playgrounds and leisure facilities.
Are larger group bookings possible?
