Awards
WERKHAUS has received numerous awards – for our products and designs, for our ecological commitment and for being a family-friendly company. This makes us proud and encourages us to keep going our way.
2021
We are and will remain a Green Brand! Once again, we have received
the award. We will continue to constantly improve in all environmentally
relevant areas.

Our HOCH X furniture line, which we developed with Andreas Mühlenberend from the Bauhaus University in Weimar, won the Green Good Design Award in Chicago.

Our four-legged “Pony” has been awarded the FORM 2019. We are proud that our products have received this award for the fourth time.

WERKHAUS is very much focused on employees and engages in social responsibility. These efforts have been awarded the FaMi seal for family friendliness for the fourth time.

Our four-legged stools “Dog”, “Cat” and “Cow” have been awarded the FORM 2018 at Tendence in Frankfurt. We are proud that our products have once again received this award.
2017
In December, the jury of the German Sustainability Award honoured us with the award “German Sustainability Award 2018- TOP 3” in the category “Germany’s most sustainable brands”.
2017
We were awarded the FORM 2017 for the second time. At Tendence 2017, we received the award from the Federal Association of Arts and Crafts and the Frankfurt Fair for our “Fat Animals” line.

For the second time, we received the Green Brand award at BioFach, the World Fair for organic food. This time, we have even improved our evaluation.

Once again, we have received the FaMi Award for family-friendly companies. The work-life balance of our employees is very important to us.

We received the German Brand Award in the category of “Industry Excellence Branding” for outstanding brand management in Germany. The competition is initiated by the German Design Council.

We have been named a Green Brand. We were awarded the seal of quality for our significant contribution to preserving environment and nature.

We have been awarded with the FaMi seal 2015 for family-friendly
companies. Additionally, we received a bonus award for being
100 % family friendly.

From of the foundation of the employers association Lüneburg-Northeast Lower Saxony we have received the 2013 “Apprenticeship and Innovation Award”.

In the competition “People and Successes” we received the award for entrepreneurial engagement and the development and protection of jobs in economically weak, rural areas.

We took part in the “Office and Environment 2010” competition and were awarded with the first prize.

WERKHAUS Design + Produktion GmbH received the certificate for junior staff development and training from the Employment Agency.

Award for outstanding design as “Best Work” in the category Displays, Promotional Items and Packaging with a DISPLAY for children’s books.

At the German Packaging Design Competition, the DISPLAY-TOWER for bicycle tyres and accessories has been awarded “Best Work” in the category Displays, Promotional Items and Packaging.

Messe Frankfurt GmbH has awarded us the seal ‘design plus’ for our NOTEBOOKS.

Our “SET LAGERHAUS” was nominated for the German Design Award in the category Wooden Toy 2000.

With the “SET SMALL KITCHEN” WERKHAUS received the German
Design Award in the category wooden toys.
1996
The German Design Council in Frankfurt awarded us the ‘design plus’ for our products PIN UP MINI, BOWL CLASSIC and TINY BOWL.

The Industrieforum Hannover was thrilled
by our GARAGE and awarded us the ‘IF Prize’.
1994
Our GARAGE filing system was awarded by the Stuttgart Design Centre with the Design Selection 94.
1993
The Frankfurt Design Council awarded us the seal of quality ‘design plus`for our desk filing system AERO.
1994
The Design Zentrum NRW awarded us in the field of design innovations in 1992 with the reddot for our SWING filing system.
