Award for the destinature village

“Special recognition” for our sustainable holiday camp destinature village! As part of the environmental festival of GRÜNE LIGA Berlin in the Kulturbrauerei in Berlin, WERKHAUS founders Eva and Holger Danneberg were honored for their commitment to sustainable tourism on September 19, 2021.

Companies and organizations entered the contest for the prizes that “are characterized by circular approaches and a respectful approach to nature and the environment” and “have their ideas and products with regard to exemplary function, meaningfulness, ecology, suitability for everyday use and fairness” scrutinized .

Apart from us, the initiatives Kunst-Stoffe e.V. (Grand Prize), Take a Garden (special recognition) and a tip: tap e.V. (Audience Award) were honored. According to the organizers, 10,000 people came to the Kulturbrauerei in Prenzlauer Berg to find out more about the environment, nature, sustainability and much more. There were exciting games, free advice, presentations of sustainable products, hands-on activities and much more.
